About Giovanna Aryafara
As a photographer, Giovanna Aryafara travels the world in search of subjects that awaken our emotions, invoke a sense of shared spirituality, and reveal our world through a minimalist, design-inspired lens. Her works offer access to the beauty of our Earth, inspired by her love of sharing the diversity of human experience. Giovanna is dedicated to the promotion of awareness of these stories and supports human rights organizations around the world, such as Survival International, that help create a more just environment for all.
Started her life-long passion for Photography 40 years ago in Sydney, Australia, continued in New Zealand as a school Photographer for several years.
Over the years, she has exhibited her works in Australia, Bali, Brazil, and Thailand.
She exhibited at the Africa Photo Festival 2018 in New York and at the Atlas of Humanity in Paris and Italy in 2019.
In 2020, Giovanna won the 2020 Africa in Focus Photo Competition for "People / Cultures & Communities of Africa" category.Giovanna travels to India and Ethiopia yearly, both for her business and Photography. Her love for Photography, Art, fabrics, and tribal crafts come together at her highly regarded Home-wares and Lifestyle Stores ‘Bungalow Living Bali’.She also has a Photography Gallery and coffee house in Bali. Her work is on Exhibit throughout her two retail Stores and Gallery.Giovanna lives in Bali with her husband, 3 Labradoodles, and a Ginger Cat.

The location is great, a short walk from the street. The space is cosy, artsy, balinese magic. The servers are kind and very pleasant. Coffee and tee awesome. And then, the photographs! Giovanna Photography is beyond... true art, power, feminine energy... I was in awe.

The pancakes were the best was not disappointing at all. We loved the gallery of pictures and the homewares (featuring the Bungalow Bali Living homewares). Lovely coffee, but BB King (the chocolate groodle) stole our hearts.

The very sweet, Saras, who decorates our coffee and serves our food, is sooo lovely. The vibe of this cafe is absolutely stunning, an inspiration for those wishing to decorate their home. The photography is on point!! I love everything about this place including the beautiful dogs (size of a horse) that come welcome you. The place is chilled, perfect to get some work done and some cakes are flourless! Also amazing vegetarian options! I'm definitely going to be a repeat customer.

I love coming here to sit in the comfy lounge nook and enjoy my favourite coffee and cake while my wife abuses my credit card. So many cool things to buy if you are into your homewares it is unlike any other cafe in Bali , so relaxing to switch off for awhile and take it all in. Give it a try !
